Commission terms
🔒 The zero-risk invariant: FarmBox's commission comes only from pre-order revenue actually collected. Nothing comes from the farm's pocket, nothing comes from the operator's pocket, and nothing is owed when no order completes.

What "revenue actually collected" means
- Collected = a buyer paid their pre-order via the payment link sent after the farm confirmed the order.
- If an order is cancelled, never confirmed by the farm, or the buyer never pays — no commission is owed on it.
- The commission is a share of the payment itself; it is never billed separately, never invoiced in advance, and never deducted from the operator's own funds.
How payment works
- Buyers submit a pre-order request — no payment is taken at request time.
- The farm confirms the order, then a Stripe payment link is sent to the buyer within 24 hours.
- Payment links are created manually per order; there are no automatic charges.
Honesty commitments
- Farm listings marked SAMPLE are placeholders, not real farms — there are no invented partnerships.
- Farms are manually reviewed before their listing goes live.
- We publish no revenue figures, testimonials, order counts, or user counts unless they are real and verifiable.
